Initial capacity vs. Recent Capacity<\/strong><\/p>\n The early structure of masjid was extremely very simple with a size of just about\u00a035×30 meters\u00a0and height of\u00a02.5 meters. By the time passes, when more and more people embraced religion Islam, after the victory of Battle of Khaibar, height and size of it was increased to\u00a050×50\u00a0meters and\u00a0about 3.5 meters respectively. The dimensions of masjid have been changed so many times. The recent structure and situation of its capacity is about 90,000 square meters area,\u00a066,000 meters\u00a0long roof, 1300 meters\u00a0height and more than\u00a02,000 pillars.<\/p>\n As Educational Institute<\/strong><\/p>\n The masjid was not only used for performing namaz but it\u2019s also a key place for enlightenment education for all. Sahaba (R.A) used to\u00a0learn recitation of Holy Quran and understand Quranic messages and teachings and debate and discuss among one another. This indicates that masjid is not only a place to perform namaz, but also an important source of preaching and teaching the religion of ALLAH Almighty.<\/p>\n Blessing of namaz<\/strong><\/p>\n Masjid-e-Nabwi is a sacred masjid and considered as one of the most significant masjids in Islam and performing namaz in Masjid-e-Nabwi has great rewards and blessings.<\/p>\n Riyad-ul-Jannah <\/strong><\/p>\n Another blessed part of Masjid-e-Nabwi which is about 22 meters in length and 15 meters in width, with some portion of it situated inside the Hujrah (chamber) of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).<\/p>\n The high significance of Riadh-ul-Jannah is that it is called a garden of jannat. It is presently distinguished by a green coloured carpet.<\/p>\n Mimbar of the Prophet (PBUH)<\/strong><\/p>\n The Place where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to deliver His lecture to Muslim has great history and importance. The masjid enclosure is one hundred times bigger now than the initial masjid built and can accommodate many worshippers.<\/p>\n Hence, the mosque of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) or Masjid-e-Nabwi is one of the greatest masjids in the history of Islam; Masjid-e-Nabwi has laid the foundations for all Muslims to not only perform namaz and learn about the orders and teachings of ALLAH Almighty, but also preach it to others.<\/p>\n
